1.     WALS one-year membership fee (commencing 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2021) is included in the registration fee.

2.     Registration fees include conference kits, refreshments, and lunch for professional and student participants.

3.     Student registrants must provide proof of their status by bringing their student cards with photo that includes name, affiliation, and expiry date to the venue, otherwise you have to compensate the difference between the student and regular registration fees.

4.     Virtual registration includes the access to all online presentations & keynote sessions.

Cancellation

1.     All cancellations must be sent to wals2021macau@gmail.com via e-mail. Any change of name will be dealt with as a cancellation and a new registration. In case of cancellations until  31 October 2021, payments will be refunded  with a deduction of HKD 388 (~USD 50) as processing fee. The processing fee of HKD 388 (~USD 50) shall apply to any and all cancellations!

2.     No refund will be made for cancellations received after  or to the registrants who fail to attend.

3.     In case of conference cancellation for reasons beyond the control of WALS 2021 organizers, the liability of the WALS 2021 organizers is limited to the fees already paid by the registrants. WALS 2021 organizers will not be responsible for any personal inconvenience that may arise.

After Online Registration

1.     Upon receipt of your payment, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address that you have registered on our online system. Please keep this email as a proof of your registration. If you do not receive such a confirmation email within 1 hour, it may mean that your registration is unsuccessful. In such a case, please email us (wals2021macau@gmail.com).

2.     We suggest that you could either print the confirmation email or take a screenshot of the confirmation email and present it at the reception desk on the day you come to the venue.

3.     Virtual participants will receive the conference access link a week before the commencement of the conference.
